Colossus Table

Inspired by the Greek wording for Colossus, meaning a statue of gigantic size, the Colossus table is recognised for its impressive size. 

The table adopts the form of solidity, incorporating a solid concrete base. Using different sized moulds, Chris was able to create perfectly shaped tables that have an industrial, yet classic identity. Bringing together a traditional statue structure into a contemporary practical furnishing. 

“I wanted to create a product that is the exact opposite to all the feelings of discontent in the world. I came up with the idea for a massive, solid round table as the world seems especially chaotic right now and that many people are disgruntled. The world needs big tables that bring lots of people together,” explains Chris Martin, co-founder and head designer, Massproductions.
